I use warm water in the bucket with the soap. Then just a hose to rinse.

Keeps your hands warm when it's cold outside... actually, I think I'm going to wash right now... Other than that, I don't see any +/- about it.

My car has been in the garage since Wednesday (last week) It's sparkly clean.

But yeah when I wash my car I use warm water. Hot water can shatter your windshield and glass. Plus it keeps your hands warm if you don't use a self service car wash.

you are supposed to prerinse with hot and use hot soapy water... then rinse with cold.. the hot will keep the soap reacting and the cold doesn't.. cold makes it easier to get it all off before the chamoise

Dang, I'm jealous. I wish I knew of a place where I could get my underbody flushed. Do those actually work though? Or is all the road salt still stuck there afterward? So far, I'm stuck thinking that I'll have to put my car on jackstands and get under it with a hose and toilet brush...

Use warm water. Hot water freezes faster than warm.
