Default price for a hatch?

what would be a good price to pay for a 92-95 hatch?

i saw a 94 DX hatch for $5300 and a 92 Si hatch for $6000 with 104K miles. are those good prices?

That's pretty high, considering this CX with B18C1 is selling for 6k:

It depends on where you live. In CA, hatches are still pretty expensive because of their popularity. On the east coast, older cars suffer from rust and stuff and don't demand as high a price. I'd keep looking or offer a lower price though.

yup... i have to agree that the price are quite high due to popular demands. however, the 92 si i've found seems pretty good, but just that he has modded the car already with most parts, i wouldn't need. but yeah i'll have to look into that.

Friend sold his vx with only 68k total miles and super clean body for 4500. I offered him 3k thinking he wouldn't sell it right away... sold the same week he put it up for sale, 25 potential buyers lined up.

I've seem semi clean bodied hatches from 4-5k buy where I live. Good luck finding a deal.

damn... for 4500, i would have bought it straight up. yeah i've search the SF classifies... but haven't found any. if i could find one cheap... then i'll just sell my 2000 ex and get the hatch. hehe

CIVICS IN SF ARE EITHER ABUSED OR OVERPRICED in the classified!!

I would look in less populated areas of northern Cali (Santa Rosa, Petaluma), generally sheltered (from the import scene) communities, ya kno.
