I have just installed a set of Skunk 2 coilovers in my 99HB about a few weeks ago. I think both GC & Skunk 2 have much higher (stiffer) spring rate than stock. I don't think stock shocks could handle such SR. I think you need to get a set of performance shock to improve ride quality. I have a set of Koni and so far it's been working out pretty nicely. The ride's not harsh or choppy or bumpy, but just a bit bouncy. I think many on this board would recommend Koni Yellow to go with your GC. The other solution would be to raise you car up and maybe that'll help a bit.

I agree.

harsh or jarring = raise the car a little (or check suspension)
bouncy = increase damping (or get shocks with more damping)

How much exactly did you lower them? Sounds like a bit to much, you'll want to replace the shocks if you have the funds. If not, you're going to not want to have a large drop for a while until the shock issue can be taken car of.
