Default How would you modify...

Whats up everybody?

I just got a brand 5 spd ex sedan, and I'm trying to decide what modifications I should start off with.

I'm basically trying to get the most horsepower possible right now, keeping in mind that I'm on a limited budget.

Right now I'm thinking, Cat-Back Exhaust or maybe a straight pipe/muffler.

Anybody can suggest some worth while mods that work well for a 2002 5spd sedan?

Thanks for the help.

welcome to the board.
You'll soon discover that there's no real way of getting significant horsepower on a "limited budget"
The best bang for the buck would have to be nitrous, but it's not the best bang for the car. I wouldn't do it personally, but it is the most power for the least money.
Just be like everyone else and start with intake, header, exhaust. You'll learn along the way.

If it's that new, remember that you'll void your warranty.

For the money he might as well sell it, and just buy a type-s.
Figure 16-17K for his car plus the 6K in just parts for the swap, and your there. That's not even counting labor.

work on the supension for now....engine swaps are costly for the newer generations and bolt ons will not give you the power you expected.
