do all civics come with the trim emblems ? or do some come from the factory without it. i got my civic used, and it doesnt have the 'DX' symbol on it, and ive seen other civics like this too. i know some people take them off, and since i got my car from a dealer, i didnt know who the previous owner was. but the other emblem-less civic's owners didnt seem like people who would do that (older people).

not that this matters to me or has a point, just wondering.

They all came factory with them. The 5th gens had a sticker and the 6th gens have an actual emblem.

ok, i was starting to think my DX was so option-less, they didnt even bother putting the emblem on.

I've noticed that a lot. I think that dealerships must have a problem with people stealing emblems off the cars in the lots. I've seen tons of Civics in all the different dealerships that I've been to that had the trim emblems missing, or even worse, ones where the emblem was stolen, and the dealership put it back on, but put it in the wrong place :doh: I can't tell you how many Civics I've seen where the trim emblem is on the upper left hand corner of the trunk lid opposite the Civic emblem. My car didn't have the "H" on the back when I was purchasing it, but I made them put a new one back on before I took it.

I bought another one from Honda and it cost $14.. FYI (for the emblem, not the sticker)

If you had the sticker one I was going to say that I noticed they kind of come off. But, as they all said, I beleive that they are just stolen.

94-95 had a non sticker civic emblem.

i removed all the emblems from my civic's back, and Shaved the Honda Emblem. I think the car looks much nicer without all the advertisements on it
