I want to do a 92 to 99 conversion. What's required, except the basic fender, bumper, hood, headlight....what else do I need, and what else do I need to do?

Hella good autobody skills. Looks great when done right, not something to be attempted by a "backyard wrencher".

i know some guy taking photos and participating in the conversion.
here are some pics

95 Honda Civic EX

couple more pics

he said the hood and fenders are direct bolt on. and the bumper requires a little bit of drilling to fit

i have done this conversion before on my old hatchback (92 CX),...welding is required,..and you do need a 6th gen radiator support,...i did the conversion right in my garage,...until i saw this post i didnt know the 6th gen fenders are direct bolt on,..what i did was cut both the 5th and 6th gen fenders in half,..i welded the back half of the 5th gen fenders to the front of the 6th gen fenders,...this job was my first welding experience and it turned out great,...i would show pictures but my computer crashed and i have since sold the car and i dont have a scanner

i dont believe the fenders are a hassle free bolt on, if it is, then it doesnt look all that nice, widebodyek did it the ryte way and the only way to ensure a perfect look. weld the halfs together. i seen a couple of these conversions(look ugly to me) and all of them were done the same way, half of the 5gen welded to half of the 6th gen.
