well know how my car was shaking.....
Well i brought it in to get looked at today, I just got a call, all 4 of my steelies were bent badly The car drove fine as far as i remember in March, but all of a sudden the car shakes like crazy. I cant even think how they could have gotten bent sitting in my shed from march til this past weekend. The guy said that it was some of the worst bent rims from a non accident that he has ever seen. Now i am wondering if my previous tires were out of balance, but when i got new tires they bent the ish out of my rims. And to make matters worse he gave me a price on 4 new steelies, and the mounting and balancing of my tires $361

How did they bend? Where there heavy objects on top of them during storage? That doesnt make sense.

there was nothing on top of them at all during storage.
I am soo baffled as to how it happened.
Now i am really bitter at the place that i bought/got my tires mounted and balanced. IF this was soo obviously bent why would they mount them?
Is there any action i can take against them for mounting the tires even though the wheels were bent. or against them for possibly causing the damage?

Unfortunately, you probably can't prove much in terms of taking action against the place that mounted your tires. You could, however, give them a call and tell them the situation...if they get defensive about it, something's up.
