Default Battery replacement

i recently attempted to replace my own car battery when i took it to the shop they indicated the battery was dead. However the battery sold to me had the pos & neg connections in the wrong locations and i connected the battery incorrectly. When i figured out my error i returned the battery and attempted to install it. Now i have now power. I've checked all my connections and still nothing.. Is it possible that i blew out something by putting in the 1st battey with the incorrect connections?

You may be in big trouble but you need to first start by checking all your fuses. Start with the fuse box next to the battery and go from there.
