J R Supercharger 98 GSR
How's everyone doing, thinking of getting a JR Supercharger.Just plan on doing bolt ons header & exhaust. Plan on keeping the stock 6psi I believe. What type of hp numbers & 1/4 times can I expect or should I look into Turbo instead. It's a daily driver. I'm not pressed for 350 type hp numbers. I'd be happy around the 230- 275 hp range.
Thanks

you'll want a turbo.
superchargers arent good on these motors, centri's won't have a bottom end and a roots type won't give you the top end... so you're better off getting a turbo than the centri-type blower, same effect, more horse and it's not a hog on the power.
the greddy kit has been pushed on these boards for years now, with IC you'll be looking at 230's-ish at the wheels at the stock 7.8 PSI. but as others have found out, like shmoo, with some modification you can get the kit up around 270 on pump and stock internals.
