My blower motor is dead and it will cost me about $400-500 dollars to replace, most of this is labor. Is this something someone who is handy, but very inexperienced with car-work take upon oneself, or should I bite the bullet? Additionally, will it just be my comfort affected, or is it dangerous given the lack of defrost? My baby has 166,000 miles and I am a student, so you see my issue.
