wierd noises....
ok guys when i hooked up my amp and speakers they sounded like shit so i started messing with it and it started sounding better it sounds kinda ok now. but whenever i turn the car on it can here bass as if the stereo was on and i havent even put the face plate on yet? i thought maybe it was the rca cables, anybody ever run into this before if you have help please.

no not that i can tell but it happens right when i turn the car on. so maybe i started to here like a little whisle that i have never heard anymore and it climbs as the rpms go up but i do have an intake but have never heard that before.

Check your ground wires. If the sound get higher as your RPM gets higher, that is most likely it.
Turn on your stereo, turn down the volume, turn on your car, rev the engine slowly.
You grounds should be solid and be contacting SOLID BARE METAL (as in no paint). Where is your amp's grounding point?

well my friend gace me the rca cables and they are brand new but i think they came from a walmart wiring kit not sure though. not sure what kind the amp is got that from a friend. i am more i will get under the car and work on it all day but dont know shit about the wiring inside of it. could it be the rca wires?
