Default Lite bulb behind Dig. Dash Clock? 99 Accord EX

hey guys... recently bought a 99 4 cycl. Accord EX. Dig clock light is out on dash. Can I easily access that to replace, or do you need a PHD in dashboard Mechanics?

thanks.... Tom

you remove the clock by weding a screwdriver around the seam where the clock meets the heater bezel. You can even pinch the clock and wiggle it out.

From there, you need to replace a tiny bulb.

Yeah, it's the bulb
I've had my car for 3 years and I think I've replaced taht bulb about three times.
Chrck that first.
Almost every 6th gen Accord owner has replaced that bulb

Default clock light

Seems that the clock light is on whenever the ignition is on. You can't see it in the daytime so most don't know it is on. The more time your ignition is on the sooner the bulb will burn out.

lol....PhD in dashboard mechanics..lol......
Its one of the notorious hickups with the accord. Is your shifter light out also by the shifter if your car is an auto?
