can not shift out of park

Default can not shift out of park

hey everyone, please help with my 95 acura legend. When I push my brake pedal I am unable to my atuomatic shifter will not shift out of park and also my rear brake lights are out, does anyone have an idea of what may have caused this problem?

U need to replace your brake switch

Sounds like a brake switch I would check the fuses first

Default where is the break switch

can anyone tell me where to locate the switch?

Look up under the dash, and on the brake pedal, u will see a switch with a plug on it. All u have to do is unscrew the switch and put a new one in.

Default Don't froget fuse

If your interior lights are also out then it might be the fuse.
