Default Lousy road runner meep meep Civic horn

I need a louder horn.

A stupid 45 mile per hour lady yapping on a cell phone on the 65 mph freeway slowly swoops into my lane with me in it and the stupid stock Civic horn isn't loud enough for her to hear it over her Bose and Motorola.

What kind of horn upgrades are easy/cheap/quick/effective/etc. Or anything.

hella makes some nice replacement horns in disc (OEM) style or air horns. the hella discs are like 60-70 bucks, and are loud as hell! only thing, if someone hears a loud horn, they wont realize its coming from your honda.

thats one thing that suprised me in japan. aftermarket horns are a fairly big thing over there. every car shop I went into had a section for aftermarket horns.

yup.
most horns are two wire so find one, bolt it on, splice the wires and you're good.

:werd: i think it is because the stock horns are way to weak and people want louder ones

Anybody have sound clips of the Hella compact trumpet or the twin supertones?

Or a website to buy those JDM horns?
