Default 92 Civic - stuttering problems

Howdy,

Trying to troubleshoot a car for a friend, and it's been a while since I owned a honda. Hope you guys can steer me in the right direction:

My friend has a car that runs fine when cold, but once it is warm, it stutters and bogs ~2000-3000 rpm. He ran some injector cleaner through it and said it stopped doing it during that tank of fuel, but them came back almost immediately.

My first thought is: Fuel filter, Fuel pump, plug wires, plugs... Is there anywhere I else I should be looking at, or any of the above that I shouldn't worry about replacing?

Thanks!
Steve

I had a similar problem after I replaced the distributor cap and rotor with an aftermarket one. The problem would only happen when the car was warm.

Bought an OEM cap and rotor , the problem went away. MAybe something to look into

could be a dirty IACV. Just clean it with some carb cleaner.

I replaced my fuel filter with one from a 3rd party store (Canadian Tire). My car stopped skipping a beat when it was hot. Made a big difference. I have a '92 civic with 265,000km on it all original.
