how can i beat a Z28?
im putting a B16a2 Sir2 into my 93 civic ex. i getting the complete swap with ECU,harness, 5sp tranny. ect. and before i swap the motor, im getting a T/3 turbo kit. i plan to run 7-9psi on my stock b16a2, would that motor handle that bost?, and the ultimate question, how can i smoke a Z28 or a 5.0?, and will my future turbo swap do the job????

Or get an LS1 SS Camaro/TA. Basic mods = teh win... OK here's a real answer. Once you install the engine and turbo, get that thing tuned by a professional. It may cost a pretty penny, but having reliable power is the key. Then take out all the stock Z28s and fox-body Moosetangs you want AT THE TRACK.

I think it would be cool to drop a GSR fully worked with a T4 turbo and strip the car except for the essentials. That would definatly give him a run for his money.

the ls1 z28's 97-01 i think are putting out 350hp and doing 150mph right out of the box...so i guess if you beet him up to like 110 i would stop after that cause he will probably be getting ready to blow by you. and for mustangs just watch out for cobra's and the new gt's, but as far as stock fox body mustangs...they are slow i think they have like 220hp you should be able to hang if not pass one with just a b16

I concur with you though, those 97-01 Z28s are pretty quick
