Valve adjustment - Needed?
I haven't adjusted my valves in over 6 years on my 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback. Is it worth the time to go ahead and do this? It doesn't seem so hard to do. I simply need a new valve cover gasket. Will I notice any improvements in performance/gas mileage? It still seems to run fine except the leaking/burning oil.

It wouldn't hurt. It is really easy to do. Just get a feeler guage and a new valve cover gasket and do it. You may see some performance regains out of it. It is good for your rocker arms and cams to be in spec, so go for it.

someone might already have a DIY put together for this, u might try checking the other side of the forum. I'd say go for it, especially if you happen to hear some tapping.
