Head Gasket Question. Help??

Default Head Gasket Question. Help??

i have a question that i hope someone could help me. I just threw in a new head gasket about 2 1/2 weeks ago but i decided to replace my gsr head with another gsr head that has more work done to it would i be required to put in a new head gasket?

it is recommended that you replace the head gasket everytime you pull the head.

You need to replace the head gasket. If u would to try and reuse the old one it will not torque down properly, b/c it has already be compressed. THe head bolts can be used twice.

Yes, that is correct. I did this without realizing it and it leaked oil and coolant everywhere and the head had to be removed again. Be safe not sorry and shell out the $90 for a new one everytime the head comes off.
