Default which head

i am going to overbore a b18c to 2.0 liters and put it in a crx, now the thing i want to know is which head is better for PnP and or upgrades, the c1 or c5, i heard that the c1 is basically just a b16 head so i was thinking that the b18c5 head would be a smarter choice, yet more expensive

no... a c1 head is in its own class. A c5 head is a b16 with a PnP and some beefer cams.

B16A and B18C5 heads are cast form the same mold...the ITR heads only differences are cams, valves, and PNP

ITR heads come ported and polished from the factory but a GSR head will run cheaper and since you are planning on rebuilding it, that would be the head of choice.

it also depends on the compression you want....GSR heads will create more compression than a B16/ITR head

True. But the GSR head is cheaper and you can retain the IM that came with the GSR engine.
