Default hearing a really bad "back-fire" sound...

i was driving home and i felt my car kinda "shudder"... i didnt what happend cuz it went away really quick, but then i gave it a little more gas and it did it again and "POPPED!" like a backfire. i have no clue what is going on...somebody help me!

Do you still have the stock exhaust on there?

If your rpm's were dropping, it could be an ignition problem. Check your plugs/cap/rotor/wires.
