Default Installing a Header Only

Hi, Guys

well, even tho it will be some silly question, but as I said I'm planning to install the header w/ stock exhaust for my 6th honda accord ex 4dr (4cyl).

I don't want to make any noise as possible as I can for my beater especially w/ automatic tranny.
is there anyone who installed an header w/ stock exh. how does it sound?

will it be still loud? any exprience or advice will be appreciated

Thanks

Tom

I've got an OBX header with stock exhaust. I do plan to upgrade the exhaust system...$$ permiting, but its not loud...if anything I noticed acceleration to be smoother/slightly quieter. It looks alot better than that crappy old exhaust manifold!

How worth are those OBX headers.
People tell me they are cheap etc... go with DC Sports.....etc.... I just wanna slap them when they say that.

Ohh go spend the 400 bucks on a product you can get for 150 - 200 and performs the same. I hope this would be with OBX. Are they just some sucky headers?

My Headers make my car accelerate more smoothly, and they give my car a slightly deeper tone making my SRI sound better as well. I definitely feel the difference in the initial starting acceleration though.

Thanks for those all advices, btw I was told that the engine light came on if you change the header to any aftermarket one. is it true? if so, should i buy some o2 sensor too?

Thanks again
