Default who's got AEM V2 cold air intake?

how do you guys like them???
any problems like filter getting dirty or water getting into the filter??? how often u guyz clean them?
I heard u shouldn't use a bypass valve on V2......
I just have a matrix intake filter on my stock pipe.... (took out the stock air filter)
I'm thinking about getting an CAI.... cuz i heard short ram intakes sucks up hot air from the engine..........

I would get a CAI and it would definitly be the V2. I have that on my 99 Civic and I like it.

it will make more power but the question is how much more power from the trditional CAI
i think the V2 is more of a gimmick
it's making around 1-2 more hp if any
is 1 hp worth the extra 25-50 bucks for the V2?
IMO not really
it's alos not compatible with the bypass valve
CAI is the way to go w/bypass valve
better safe than sorry

The reason I have the V2 is that I paid only $50 for it

The regular CAI is the best bang for your buck.

CAI wit bypass valve.. may as well just have a short ram.. the bypass valve robs you of the 1-2 hp difference between CAI and short ram

I must agree the V2 doesn't show any more gains over the CAI and is definately not worth 50+ dollars over the original CAI there for the CAI gets my vote minus the bypass valve just be careful not to drive through deep puddles or any lakes

I like my factory "CAI" ('04) just fine. I haven't seen anything compelling enough to make me want to buy an aftermarket one. I guess the aftermarket one at least looks

If you haven't done so already, you can check out my AEM v2 Review here

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

yeah, the V2 is the way to go...especially on a 6th gen 4cyl...the original just lost all your low end and gave u a little bit on top...the V2 gains low, mid, and high, i've had mine since they were first released and i love it.
