96 Accord speedometer quit working? ?? clues?
Hi guys,
My 1996 Accord Speedometer/odometer quit working complteley. It used to work intermittently but now it just don't work? it's a 5speed.
I was told that on the 1996 accord there is no speedo cable? just speed sensor? is this true? and where is the speed sensor located? is it on the transmission?
any help is appreciated.

hum..another speedometer glitch..my 95 v6 stil have same problem as you but its RPM meter not speedometer. I tried to fixed it..they guy said its the speedometer curcuit malfunction , and he wanted $ 360 to fix the whole thing.of course i didnt fix it..it stil broken

is ur engine light on too? 5th gen. got these problems alot.

Where is Speed sensor located?
