Default Rotors and Brakes

Hey Guys I live in the LA area. Sherman Oaks to be more specific. I got a guy who has worked on my care quoting me 270 including labor to replace rotors and pads. Wut do you guys think ? I would do it myself but don't think my back can hang. So I am trying to see if this is a good deal or do I have any other options. He is replacing my rotors with new stock Accord Rotors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Take Care

Many Many and I say Many threads have been started regarding brakes & rotors.

Do a search and your answer will be solved.
btw..I think 270 is to much for stock brakes and rotors.
I got my brembos with pads for 270.

with the price including labor, that's actually pretty good. are you getting stock pads put in? or some aftermarket pads?

don't get crappy pads the stopping power on them suck, and they will produce a ton of brake dust. I'd recommend OEM pads, or AEM/Nissin pads. lifetime pads=crap

get the most expensive autozone have, they are great and cost around $50, i think u paying way too much, all that should b like a $50 job. pads u can install them urself and even get the tools from autozone for free. u can get the complete upgrade kit from theaccordstore.com for under $200 and they better than stock.

you know what, i bought auto zone pads because mine where gone (sensor was rubbing) and i needed to wait till i was paid in a week and i regret not putting up with the squealing cause with-in 3 days of the new pads they where burning and i almost wreaked my accord due to my pads heatign up and no matter how much further i pushed the pedal my car didn't slow down anymore... needless to say i ended up changing my brakes shortly after... DONT GET AUTOZONE PADS... if you value your saftey or car !
