Default Kumho, Nitto or Yokohama Tires

The last 2 sets of tires I have ran on have been the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's, and they perform very well in terms of grip and handling, but it seems as though the tread life is short though. Have any of you used any other tires out there such as the Yokohama AVS E S100's or any Nitto tires that are rated the same as the other two. Which one's do you like better in terms of traction and tread wear?

Thanks.

i had the nitto 450's and yokohama avs es 100's when i had 17's...the nittos were ok and the yokohamas were great

IN FACT i have the set for sale..215/45/17 2 yoko avs es 100 and 2 nitto 450's...barely 1000 miles of relaxed driving (no racing, burnouts, tracks, stupid shit) and are in great condition..asking $290 for all 4 or 145 a pair =)

Yokohama AVS ES100s are your best bet. I love mine!

The new Nitto NEOGENs perform very well compared to the AVS
toyo proxes aren't a bad choice either
IMO nittos aren't as good as yokohama

Exactly.

I have had my Nitto Neo Gens on for five months now and I am very happy with them. They are great in all conditions and the tire wear has been as good as at it gets. Best bang for your buck on the market, IMO.

the es100s are a pretty nice tire for the money i have had them for about 2,000 miles. they are definetly better than the 712s and anything Nitto. also falken 451s which look similar to es100s are supposed to be pretty good.
