Slow power window - HELP
Hey guys,
I was wondering if you have any suggestions with slow power windows. The problem is with my passenger rear widow. It goes down normally (as fast as the other windows) but comes up slow (slower than the other windows). Any suggestions on where I could lubricate? I took off the rear door panel but all the window gadgetry is behind the plastic....I didn't want to remove the plastic. I had a tint job done a few months back....but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I just noticed the problem a few days ago. Is this a major problem like a sign that the window regulator going bad...or just in need of some lubrication? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why wouldnt you want to remove the plastic All you have to do is tape it back on
Anyway, your window motor is probably going. Mine is the same way. Makes a creaking noise when going up.

before you go ripping the door panel off, try this: with the window down, clean the strip along the bottom of the glass frame. You'd be amazed how much dirt collects there. Once that's done, spray the same strip and the glass guides with silicone spray. It should free up the glass some. If that doesn't work, then you might actually have regulator issues.

only 2 things, motor regulator as they said or u need the rubber "window guide thing"
if u do what they said and it work and if the problem comesback then u need the window guide thing, is like $30, the motor is like $60

I have a similar issue with my passenger mirror kinda rattles when going down but not up and makes a squeeky noise as well. Need to take it to the dealership see whats going up with that.
