Default Weird Problem!?

Just recently I was driving my 5spd 98 lude, and the engine just completely shuts off while i am driving.. What the hell!!.. tried starting it again and it started up just fine.. The next day the exact same thing happened I had noticed that my coil was cracked, so i replaced it with one that i ordered hoping this would fix the problem.. 10 min after i replaced the coil it happened to me again.. it seems as this continues to happen it takes more attempts to start it up again.. I am really at a loss, i have no idea what to check or do. Please HELP ME!!!!

The only thing I can think of is to check the wiring to your alternator and your battery. When you try to restart it does it seem like your battery is almost dead. I had that problem with my integra because the wiring was loose on the alternator and it wasn't giving any juice to the distributer so the motor was just running off the battery until it died. If everything checks out there just keep checking other wires, it sounds like an electrical problem.

Hello! It's the ignition switch and it will be replaced free as per recall.

So the nearest honda dealer will just replace it for free if I take my car to them?

Yup. This was part of 1.2 million recalled Hondas. You should have gotten a notice like 2 years ago. Are you not the original owner? Doesn't matter, they'll fix it FOC and it only takes an hour and a half.
