H22A turbo setup?
ok, here's the thing. i have a '00 5spd base model w/ 75,000 miles. the car is in excellent condition and has zero problems. except, i NEED some form of forced induction, the car is too torqueless for my likings. i at first wanted a JRSC, but then rode around in some of my friends turbo cars and instantly got hooked on turbo's. i really haven't done too much research yet. around mid/end of summer i should have everything bought and ready to install. i don't really want to buy a "kit" b/c it seems they overprice them quite a bit. one of my friends just pieced his turbo h22 a couple of days ago for much cheaper than a kit. i'm just looking for some opinions on what all i need: turbo manifold, exhaust, turbo, injectors, FMIC, BOV, wastegate, oil line kit, wideband (or dyno time), standalone/hondata...just add to the list what you think i might need. any brand names/opinions would help. i have an idea what i'd buy for most, but not all.
also, do you think that the h22 will hold up with 6-7 psi without a problem on the stock internals? i plan on building the bottom end in a year or two.
thanks,
Blake

ok i'll make my own list for cheapness but will work:
-turbo internal wastegate
-manifold
-1G DSM bov
-DSM SMIC
-S-AFC or V-AFC
-Oil lines
-boost gauge
-a/f gauge or wideband is better
-custom chargepipes
-custom downpipe
-upgraded clutch
and yes 6-7 psi is decent.. and the h22 will hold it nicely.
