Suspension Gods! Please Advise!
Ok here's the deal: I got in an accident about 2 years ago. I messed up my front crossmember, my front passenger side tire rod and tire arm.
I got it fixed (costing me much); fast forward to present day.
I went to get an alignment and was told my frame was damaged (my car is salvaged) and so I could never have perfect alignment however these are the stats for my car:
And from my by-the-butt perspective my car feels damned unsafe to drive, especially on the freeways or whenever the roads are wet.
Here is what the printout from Wheelworks says:
the now is what my car is at, before is what my car was at when i brought it in and spec range is what it should be
Camber is ok
Caster now: 1.8/ before 1.8 ( Should be 2.0 to 4.0 degrees)
Toe now: .55/ before 0.96
and get this- it SHOULD BE -0.12 TO .12 DEGREES.
THAT'S LIKE 5X WORSE!
my question is, is it possible/practical to fix it if there is frame damage?
is it dangerous to drive w/ this degree of toe?
please advise and thanks much
