Default Seperating Corner Lenses

dah!! I have poked and proded at these damn things, and I cannot get them apart. I am trying to take the corner lenses apart to paint them black (much like the 5th gen ones) but I cannot find a way to seperate them. I have tried a hair dryer, and a heat gun, but all they do is start to melt the plastic, and not the adhesive. If ANYBODY has done this, please let me know how you took them apart. Thanks.

Well...when I put my clears on, the stock ones just kinda seperated from me pulling on them so hard...It suprises me that the hair dryer didn't work...

stick em in the oven at 125 for like 5 minutes

worked for seperating my g/f's headlights on her 2003 tib

What I've read is that the corners are much flimsier than the headlights, so they don't pull apart :dunno:

it is held together by super glue not ahesive so it will not melt.. you have to use a thin screw driver and pry it open VERY slow.. go around the edge multiple times.

I tried doing that, but the ****er kept breaking :madfawk: ohh well, I'll keep trying

i ruined a pair in the oven not worth it
