prelude si rims
hi,
i have a set of 92-96 prelude rims on my 5th gen.
it seems that everyone is recommending to use spacers
on the wheels, is it really necessary to be installed?
or is it necessary only of the car is lowered?
i've been on them for a month or so and never have any
brushes against the car. right now, it's on dunlop sp9000
205/55/15, can i use 205/50/15 instead?
thanks

You can use 205/50 but it wont matter. For some people the inner lip of the rim is what grinds not the tire. If you get wheel spacers Id recommend at least 3mm. A 5mm would work too but Id also recommend extended wheel studs. I dont use wheel spacers on my si rims and I grind the inner lip if I turn all the way. So I dont turn all the way. 3 point u turns own me. h:
