Oh what to do with my accord
i have 160k miles on my stock 94 accord. clutch is slipping like hell. mpg is down too, around 20mpg highway . car feels slower than usual, nothing wrong with engine tho. exterior is in good condition. what should i do, install h22 or wait out a few years and buy a v6?

H22 is always a debate...I'd say, depends on the amount of $$$ you're willing to spend. If you think about it, a H22 conversion (depending on where you are) is going to cost you a few thousand...maybe close to $4000. It DOES solve all your problems tho...you'll get a low mileage, good running engine and tranny.
Another way to look at it is...$4000 is close to what the car is worth. And that money you invest in the transplant...you'll never recover when you sell it.
My vote is...take care of the car, run some fuel system cleaners, get a new clutch (~$300 fix), maybe a tuneup, etc...take that money you saved and invest it somewhere...in the 3+ years that your car will last you, you can easily put it toward the downpayment for a nice new car later.

fix ur mpg probs...run the car till it dies...then get a new one...some more info and we can prolly hlp w/ the mpg...ur car's old and has almost up there mileage...don't think it's really worth it to keep it goin w/ a h22

i was in a similar situation with my 94... car was perfect running condtion... but its a 10yr old car, with 154k miles... and for what i wanted to do with it... i couldnt see myself spending $10k on a car thats worth $4k.... i decided id rather get a new(er) car and invest money into it.. and have something thats worth some.
so i sold it and got $5500.
