Holy crap...I heard all the hype about how it was going to look good, but I never imagined it looking like that.

All I have to say to Honda is....do NOT dissapoint us, do NOT dumb down this concept. I want to see that exact car on the showroom floor. I want to see 280 hp. I want to see a six speed manual. And most importantly, I want to see AWD.

My favorite things:
-The roofline coming down the back of the car. It's extremely aggressive.

-The sidemarker line that cuts across the side to the taillights, and I like how they did the door handles.....not as boring as the TSX.

-The lower cut into the bottom of the doors...I think it really adds to the design.

Nothing really bad to say about it other than I think they could have chosen a better wheel design. Something about them bothers me. I like the way Acura is pulling their designs closer together. I think it will help brand rep. Hopefully they will continue on this styling trend with the RL.

Wait a sec...there's no mirrors. :squint: But it does look like those are camera housing, maybe viewable on the navi? :dunno:

Oh well, i think its just a concept and almost production ready.

It's the concept version. Shrink the wheels two inches, add equipment that make it DOT legal, take out the stuff that's obviously not production friendly, and you have the production 2004 TL photo.

The front sidemarket to rear sidemarket line is interesting.

It looks waaaay too similiar to the TSX for my tastes...why did they do that?

Family resemblance. Look closely, and it's not all that similar to the TSX, just the headlamps and the grille. BMW's headlamps and grilles are all similar, but nobody questions their logic.

Well, we do now since Bangle the dumbass entered the picture.

Those wheels are 18's, right? Shrink them two inches?!?!? What!?!? If they whimp out and put 16's on the base again, I'm gonna freak! 17's would just be getting by, but 18's should be the standard....

Also, I love that defined line running from the sidemarker to the rear-quarter panel. I hope that stays for production...along with many other things, of course.

Acura isn't BMW. Obviously I was talking about the headlights and grille, not the entire car.
