Saturday thread ver. New Years Resolution
gloomy day outside, about 70 degrees right now, should be a decent night to go out. Woke up this morning with the bubblies, crawfish and beer don't mix well in my stomach.
I'm all good now. Getting off at work at 3 and going to run some errands before I hit the town tonight.
My New Years resolution is to become a better person.

I wanted to go golfing today, but the cold wind kind of deterred myself and some others from doing so. Instead, we went bowling and drinking several "towers" of Efes beer. Now we are heading out to the "Alley" to enjoy some Turkish cuisine then hit the bars. Happy New Years!
Also see my relatives in Turkey when all of my cousins can be there at the same time, and save more $.
LT.... Fly me into Turkey on a cargo plane or something!!!!
I can't give up Mt Dew o:
I would like to think I am going to try losing weight again. Sarah just got a new place with a basement big enough for my home gym that I've been storing for a couple months. My big problem is getting to the gym.. but having it at home SHOULD remove all obstacles.
I think a realistic resolution would be to get off the computer and get outside more.

Get new job, thinking of signing on to a fishing vessel
Finish work on the house and clean it out of the crap I don't absolutely need
Sell some vehicles
Reduce my eating out habit (already down to once or twice a month now)
Read more (currently on book 5 in the last month)
Enjoy life more...been a pretty stressful last couple years so looking to find ways to just relieve some of that
Work out more and drop some more weight...dropped 30lbs recently and a bit more to hit target weight.

Typically, I don't put a lot of stock in these sorts of things.
But I've got one now: stop living life on autopilot.
If I'm honest, I make safe, but confining choices about what I work on and where I do it.
Like a hunting dog on a short lead, I'm chafing at the leash. It's time to go chase some cars.
