These Honda dealership guys are tuners like me and you not your typical A$$es we usually deal with. The wagon hood is steeply sloped. Headlights are the same through out the crx civic line but the CRX hood is only the same as the Civic hatch hood.

dood it doestn matter if the part numbers n shit are different. just because it looks different on a wagon. yeah its 'sloped' cause the wagon front end it way higher. unless youve tried then you dont konw. i pulled a hood off either a wagon or a sedan, i forget, and it worked. then i also got a headlight off a wagon or sedan, the other choice..and it worked

Oh yeah and menappi does have a point... "unless youve tried then you dont know" ....If you really have not tried it then I would not be calling bullshit just cause your 'DEALERSHIP" guys told you other wise...

And do not come back and try to start anything with me please. I am just simply making a statement. I am not trying to start anything!

Ok I did some research and I must say I didnt do this to prove anything just to help in the future if you are looking for parts. Went to the local salvage yard its not a regular one they strip all the good parts off the car and scrap the rest. Went back were they had acouple hoods for the 88-91 civic year and found out that there actually three different hoods for the 88-91 Civic and CRX models.

1. Civic Sedan
2. Civic Hatch and CRX
3. Civic Wagon

They look pretty identical when looking one at a time but these were in side by side bins and labeled for the right model and you can tell subtle differences. Same thing with the fenders. Hope this helps any requests for any other body parts i could go look at them later this week?

dood were u being sarcastic when u said you had 4 wagons, 8 sedans? if you werent then why is it going to take you a few days to figure it out. and of course a junkyard is gonna sort the hoods differently, they dont know shit about part interchangability. anyways this post is dead , i swear i got a hood off either a sedan or wagon, i forget it was so long ago, but it worked.
