a juiced hybrid is too much for a stock wrx.


i've been wanting to race a wrx to see how i'd do..

no luck yet.

 

its funny but the wrx on the street is an amazing combatant... think about a high 13 second fwd car running street tires on the street.. that COULD be up to a half second differance off the track numbers... if this is done on the street it will be closer than people think... the wrx is an amazing street racer... mid 14's at the track, but the plus is.. it will run that exact time on the street also, due to lack of traction problems.. i think the civic (if he is a good driver) will win, but i HARDLEY think he will smoke you...

 

You could race in the rain or snow or something...

 

Make a video so we see how it turns out.

 

what if he didn't have Nitrous? Would the hybrid still beat the WRX?

 

it takes a low 14 high 13 sec fwd car car to beat a mid to low 14 sec AWD car on the street due to traction issues... that is no scientific formula, and there are a million other factors.. but that has just been my street racing expieriance

 

Depends on his I/H/E, weight reduction, and how strong the motor is, but I'd still give the hybrid half decent odds on walking the WRX.

 

i think it'll be a even race if he didn't have the 50 shot of nitrous

Results..

(1)0-100: Took him for about 4 cars at start. Around top end of 3rd the civic pulled hard. I saw the lil white smoke from the exhaust. So he pulled the rest of the way.

(2)0-100: He had mad traction problems, but anyway ended up pulling and didnt beat me so bad this time.

From a 40 mph roll: SMOKED!!! That sucked.
