Yes...well...I've been on the board now and again, but I am not a modder. So I never actually thought about this until just yesterday, when I was browsing Ebay.

Question: How do you get into you car if you've shaved off your door handles? :huh:

The lever/rod that unlatches the door is connected to an electric device that {pops} the door open via remote transmitter

Kinda how if you have an alarm you can remotely unlock you doors..well this "pops" it open away from the B pillar

 

I see...so you have to get some kind of "remote opener" installed inside of your doors...would suck to have your batteries run out of your remote!!!

 

If you request it, many people put a "hidden Manual Overide" switch just incase YOU lock your Keys in your car you can go to the "Fender Well" or wherever its hidden and pop the doors open by taking power directly from the battery

What DOES suck is if you leave your lights on and Your battery runs dead

 

but if you have power lock, you can unlock all doors via the trunk lock..

Right?

 

i have everything shaved on my accord, i have 2 remotes, a hidden switch if the remotes are dead, and hood pins so if the battery is dead i can still get under the hood.
