today i got some of the material to start with my interior. its going to be two tone white vinyl and rust orange suede. look at the pics and tell me what you think. these pieces are the rust one is the sunning board piece that holds the carpet down. the white piece is the one that is on top of the dash that goes from front window to side window.

its not hard to wrap the pieces as long as you can stretch the material. the suede i am going to drop using and im going to use a burnt orange vinyl. the suede i got doesnt stretch so its impossible to wrap around curves. its not hard to do, i found it is easier to start from the middle and do the edges last. i use 3m spray to glue the material. just spray both the panel and the back of the material let them get tacky and lay the panel on top of the material just to start sticking it then i use my hands to start smoothing things out. let the major pieces set up a while then start gluing and stretching the edges. if you want it to stretch more you can heat it up. some may want to use steam instead, or a heatgun will do. dont over heat it or it will lose its texture. you can get stretch suede but i havnt found the cover i want in the stretch version. so ill stick with the vinyl. once im complete with the panels i will take more pictures those 2 pieces are simple ones. but we will see how it goes.
