Well I am planning on getting tint for my car, because I live in florida and have no AC, So I would like to keep my car a lil cooler when I get in it.

My question is, what percent tint should I get. I hear alot of people saying that getting 5% is ricey, and it doesnt fit the car. I had soemone also tell me to get 5% on the back windows and get a lighter tint on the 2 front widnows, I jsut cant make up my mind. And I also hate when people stare at me when I am driving, so yea. OPINIONS PLEASE!

you seem to have a dark colored interior. on average the dark interiors produce less light and therefore the tint seems darker--- i'd say 20% is dark enough.

20% is the lowest you can go legally in the front. IN FLORIDA. It really isn't all that dark. However, I think overtinting is just a stupid ticket to get, so I say stick with the 20%. Do it all the way around for an even look. The back 3 windows will already look slightly darker because the rear windshield is tinted and the front is not. So dropping their tint to 15, 10, etc. will make them especially dark. I'm not sure how using 25 or 30% tint on the back windows would look.

Ha, YEa I had 5% on my Black CRX. I ALWAYS drive with my windows down, jsut when I feel the need to roll them up, cause someone is grilling me. LOL
I think I will go with 20% all aorund, jsut didnt want to rice out the car. THANX

imho, dark tint isn't worth it if you're getting something that isn't legal. I've had 3% tint and got two, $125 tickets for it. 35% all day long for me...

depends on the local laws. here, 35% front is legal limit, but I've never been ticketed.

Agreed, but I'm just expressing my experience and choices based on that experience. Alabama cops love to ticket you for idiotic things. :uhhok:

my friend juss got hit for the 5% on his volvo. must be a national thing with cops
