Default Need Help

Ok so i really like the Spyder 1 body kit for my 97 accord coupe. If i get it i will definately get the urethan front bumper but the rest of it is fiberglass. Would it hurt if the rear bumber was fiberglass. Would it crack often? Anyways i was also thinking of getting a Xenon kit..Which one should i get and which one would look the best.

You typically do not have to worry about a rear bumper being fiberglass as it sees far less abuse than the front bumper. Unless you're prone to hitting things when you back up from parking spaces, I think it's safe for you to get a fiberglass rear bumper.

Scraping a rear bumper is pretty rare. If you look at the first pic you attached, you'll see that the bottom of the rear bumper slants upwards. So even if you go on a steep slope, that upward slant on the rear bumper was made so that you don't scrape.

I think it would work. It should also be lighter than the factory piece I think.
