Default what's the best way to take care of carbon fiber hood?

to help avoid yellowing or cracking etc.

Get extra clear coats on it before you instal it the first time.

that, and drive carefully and dont tailgate. and clean it regularly.

I would think that avoiding parking in direct sunlight would help also. :dunno: I don't know because I don't have one.

It's clear coated, so it's just like paint. You can wax and polish and taking care of it along with your paint will make a big difference.

Try painting it to match your car. It will give the CF a nice layer of protection.

okay...i was going to ask the same question

i just got a VIS hood for my 96 accord EXR...

how do i take care of it....just regular car soap that i use to wash the car?...i'm having my car fully painted tooo...should i be telling them to clear coat it even more than how it got sent to me from VIS?
