Washing.
I'm gonna bring my car down to the self serve wash tomarrow, I know how to wash it and all, but I read somewhere that someone sprayed tire shine under their hood to keep it all sparkly new. Is that safe? Cuz I was thinking of trying it.
Armor All is from the devil as listed above Armor All has an ingredient that actually breaks apart plastics and vinyls.
I do recomend using a cleaner though, i use it on all my hoses and plastic pieces. However, if you use a product like tire shine you are going to pick up alot of dirt and dust

OK here is what you want to use for engine plastic and vynl cleaner. It is Stoners Trim Shine. It has a little silicone in it to give it that nice shine, and it does not leave your stuff looking like crap when its all gone, it give it that almost soft gloss look and when it dries it is not greasy like other shiners.

I prolly won't do the tire shine, I'll just bring a small bottle of amoral.
