Default cleaning windows

what do you guys use to clean your windows..i use windex and paper towels on the inside and outside, but after 2 days i have to clean them again, its like greasy or something? it looks like its fogged up all the time, what can i do to fix this

use newspaper next time instead, trust me on this. it doesnt leave lint and cleans it streak free. i use this glass cleaner stuff that sprays out foam, can be had at ur local autoparts store.

you guys are being serious about the newspaper then? I'm curious why the ink on the newspaper doesn't smear. not to jack the thread but what would you guys use to get off years of hard water spots?

it's all i use, remember non amonia cleaners for you boys with tint, or else you'll get dark purple tint

Haha The first time they told me about news paper I was like 16 and I was like WHAT! are you for real? Tried it. Will never go back to anything else. It's like better then when the car got out the show room.

try clay bar or even waxing/buffing the window with orbital or high-speed buffer. chances are you wont be able to get them off. i see it all the time on trade-ins and used cars at work. its worth a shot

What I do is kinda double the work but the result is the best:

1. Use a damp wet cloth and clean windows once with a 100% cotton cloth
2. make sure they are completely dry and then use "Armorall Window Wipes"

No streaks whatsoever, even at night when assholes are flashing their high beams at the back of your windshield
