What Next??

I have a 2005 S2K. I have only put on the AEM-V2 cold air and I am not sure what to look into next. Any ideas? Also I am about to invest in wheels. I am considering offset 19's in rear and 18's in front. Is this a good setup and if so what width?

im not to sabby but from what ive heard mods dont do much for low end which is where we really need the extra kick. most mods help your top end.

as for wheels 19 and 18s sound like a nice set up not sure if youd rub .though ive seen 18s dun np not to sure `19 can be done. id say either stay 7 for width in front or go a tad bigger nothing to big 8 should be ok not sure though. you might want to check out s2ki the guys over there are very helpful. not bringing down this fourm though just a thought goodluck and congrats.

19's are too big. As for offset rims with a lip, they won't fit on the s2k without serious rubbing.

don't change the rims, the stock S2K rims are sick! whatever you get will probably hurt you more than help you.

Well..

I'm going to also invest in wheels.. I have a 2000 s2000 and the 16 inch wheels simply don't offer enough clearance for curbs/parking blocks. You can see the scratches on the front from the number of times the prevous owner made contact with the curb.

I'm new to the car and the front is much longer than any other car I've owned. I have already made contact with the curb twice.. It need an inch or two. I was going to move up to 18" all around. The 2006 models come with 17" or 18" on them now, so I don't think it will hurt much. (I could be wrong)

well are you going for looks or performance? the newer models come with 17s. as for curbs, just don't pull in so far.

Um...so you're putting bigger wheels on because your car is too low

Unless you change the overall diameter of the tire, the car won't sit any higher than stock. Learn how to park.

Phateless 06-15-2006 11:24 PM

yeah dude just learn to park.
