What would be better?
Smaller (2'') piping to a medium size intercooler.
aftercooler
Or nothing??
Whats is the differnce between an aftercooler and a intercooler?
Would a intercooler on a supercharger drop boost at lower rpms??
Seems like a good idea to intercool a supercharger. Is it being done by anyone??
Thanks in advance

The aftercooler is basically an intercooler that sits in the engine bay, so the intake air has less distance to travel. The aftercooler is water to air, whereas an intercooler is air to air. Intercoolers and aftercoolers both have boost drop across them, that's just physics. The comptech aftercooler drops less than .5psi.

I heard that an aftercooler really only helps during cooler weather like in the 70 degree range, but it won't make much diffrence if its really hot outside. I can't remeber where I heard it from and I dont know how much truth is in it.
