Default Stock Exhaust Size

What's the stock size of the s2k exhaust, I see spugen sells their exhausts in 2.5" diameter, even though this is proven to gain some HP, what exactly happens to the torque, wouldn't it drop. Does anyone have pictures or sketches of the orginal exhaust in an s2k? Thanks, one more thing i just noticed, on the stock exhaust between the catalytic converter and the resonator there is this 1' pipe same diameter as exhaust, sticking out horizontally towards the drivers side as if to have the exhaust coming out from under the drivers door. What the hell is that? what purpose does it serve and what happens when it's removed. Thanks

The exhaust is roughly 60mm and tapers down near the mufflers. The little part that sticks out is just a reversion chamber to reduce noise.

Thanks alot for your response, i've posted this question in several forums and no one seems to either care or wanna help. So by removing that reversion pipe and the resonator some more sound should come out, sounds cool. The exhaust is then about 2.4" is pretty big from factory.

A good exhaust shop should be able to remove the reversion chamber and the resonator. You'll definitely get more sound of the stock exhaust. I've never heard a modified factory exhaust in person, but people who have done this say it sounds nice. Good luck.

I just took the senonator off, it sounds real nice, sounds like the stock 350Z deep quiet sound. Very nice
