Default HP to the Wheels

Does anyone know how much horsepower is put down to the wheels on these bad boys? I was kind of thinking that since it's RWD it would lose a lot of power through the driveshaft.

Thats what I was thinking, but how can the vehicle vary? It's still the same F20C right? Do you or anyone else out there know the exact #'s?

Dude, there is no exact number. It varies by vehicle and model year and generally falls in the range of 190-200 rwhp. It varies based on how any given vehicle was broken in, put together, type of gas, contaminents in the gas, octane level, and god only knows how many other things. You can't get one single number unless you're asking about one particular s2000.

Yea, I know what your talking about. Your getting into the technical side of it, I just thought you might of been able to give me more of an accurate #. That's cool though, thanks. I just needed to know how much more HP the S2 has on my RSX-S. I know Im putting down about 175 fwhp stock. I've added a CAI, header & a 5zigen cat back so Im guessing around 190 now. But damn I still can't believe the S2000 loses 40-50 hp when it travels down to the wheels.

It happens. Synthetic lubricants help, but you will still have 15%+ drivetrain loss.

Does the RSX-S really gain 15 from i/h/e?? Or this is wishful thinking?
