Just got my RSX, was wondering....
do the RSX Type-S' need an ECU to stop it from being governed? IF so which should I get? and what are good coilovers and springs to lower it about half from stock height? help please?

i dont quite understand what your saying about the ECUs, but the eibach sportline kit get great reviews. but if you do plan on lowering you should also purchase the eibach alignment kit.

No, don't bother with a chip or anything, they're useless on Hondas. Noone has come out with modified ECU's for the G4 Integra yet, Honda ECU's are very hard to crack. Anyway, Kord have you ever actually hit the governor? I never have, I've been doing 140+ and haven't hit it.

there is no governor on the rsx-s its only limited by aerodynamics. the fastest i have read someone doing is approx 147 on clubrsx......so you still got a couple mph to go

The RSXtypeS max's out somewhere between 145 and 149 MPH. To go any faster you will need some serious mods for the strip or street. I've been at 140+MPH and had to be in 5th gear, 6th gear is too tall to get anymore speed out of it. The car was stock when I got it this fast also. The car loses torque and cannot overcome the wall of air at the front, to go much faster.
