2002 Civic SI P1167 DTC
 

The Mulfunction Indicator Light is on. The car is running fine, but is using more fuel. The light came on for the first time about 2 weeks ago and went off after 2 days. Now it is back on. The diagnostic tool has shown a P1167 DTC. My understanding is that this error is related to the primary oxygen sensor, but the problem is not necessarily related to the sensor itself, it could be the sensor wiring. Could somebody make a suggestion about how to troubleshoot this problem?
