Default 95-96 Integra vs. 2003 Civic Si

I've been driving around a '96 Integra Special Edition and have recently sold it. I'm thinking about buying an '03 Civic Si. I was wondering if anyone here has driven both and can comment on the differences between the two? I'm most interested in the differences in handling and driving dynamics. Will the Civic Si be just as tossable, etc.

Also, did the '02-'04 Civic Si not sell that well. There seems to be few owners of these cars (just look at the difference in the gallery between RSX and Civic).

Thanks.

Yeah, the 02-04 didn't do very well of all the civic si's from 89-00. The 06 is selling better. To be honest depending on what $$ you have to spend & performance you want I'd buy a Integra GSR before a 02-04 Si. You could even buy a 99-00 Civic Si coupe cheaper than the 02-04 & have same hp 160.
My opinion, I wouldn't look at the 02-04 don't like'em.
Just look a base RSX same motor I believe w/o the Vtec.
Good luck

IMO I wouldn't buy a GSR over an 02-04 Si...
The Si is at least as good handling wise, if not better... I've driven both GSR's and the Si more than once...

Did you ever drive an 02-04 Si? The interior alone is worth getting over an integra, not to mention the car is newer, has a bigger motor, and is a Special edition model that was only available for a couple of years...

My Bro has one and my buddy has one with Red Type-r seats... Makes an Integra look old fashioned...

Yes, the motor could have been better (aka RSX-S), but it is torquey and the car is pretty quick... build quality is on par with Acura level models, and is much nicer than regular civics... In other words, it doesn't even compare to a regular civic...

7 of the top 10 cars stolen was an integra, so good luck with that, not to mention everyone has these tricked out beyond belief already...
Not too many Si's out there... This is prob the main reason I'd get one...

The only reason I would recommend a GSR over an Si is that the GSR will be easier to modify, so if you are strictly going this route, then maybe the GSR would be better for you...
But from a Daily driver standpoint, IMO the Si outshines the GSR anyday...

+1 on the interior, thats what sold me on them. They're decently quick, plus you dont see them everyday
